Staying on the Narrow Path

Oct 5, 2025    Pastor John Guillory

Today, we explored the profound concept of the narrow and wide paths in life, as described by Jesus in Matthew 7:13-14. This powerful metaphor challenges us to consider which road we're truly walking on in our spiritual journey. The narrow path, though difficult, leads to life and righteousness, while the wide path, despite its apparent ease and popularity, leads to destruction. We're reminded that our daily choices matter - each decision either draws us closer to God or pushes us further away. The story of Noah serves as a poignant example of choosing the narrow path amidst a world heading towards destruction. Like Noah, we're called to live differently, even when it's unpopular or challenging. This message urges us to examine our lives, our influences, and our priorities. Are we truly following Jesus, or are we simply going with the flow of the world? Let's commit to walking the narrow path, trusting in God's guidance and the power of the Holy Spirit to keep us on track.
