Faith + Patience = Promise

This powerful teaching explores a truth that many of us overlook in our faith walk: the vital connection between faith and patience. Drawing from Hebrews 6:12 and the remarkable story of Abraham, we discover that receiving God's promises requires more than just belief—it demands biblical patience. Abraham waited over 25 years for God's promise of a son, and during that time, he faced countless opportunities to give up, to consider his circumstances, to let doubt creep in. Yet the scripture tells us he 'did not consider' his aged body or Sarah's barren womb. This isn't about passively waiting while watching the clock; it's about spiritual endurance, about standing firm when everything in the natural realm contradicts what God has spoken. We learn that patience is what connects our confession of God's promises to their manifestation in our lives. The enemy attacks our minds the moment we begin believing for something, trying to get us caught up in the 'what ifs' and natural circumstances. But like Abraham, we must refuse to waver, strengthening our faith by giving glory to God and holding fast to our confession. This message challenges us to examine whether we're truly standing in faith or if we've been forfeiting God's promises through wavering words and doubt. The equation is simple yet profound: faith plus patience equals promise.
