God's Purpose for Man
What if everything we've been chasing in life—success, fulfillment, purpose—has been leading us away from the one thing we were actually created for? This powerful message takes us back to Genesis 2, revealing that before we were called to be spouses, parents, professionals, or even church members, we were created for one singular purpose: intimate fellowship with God. The Garden of Eden wasn't just a beautiful location; it was the dwelling place of God's presence where He walked with Adam and Eve daily in the cool of the day. That same invitation extends to us today, but now the garden is our hearts. Through 2 Corinthians 6:16, we discover that we are the temple of the living God, and He desires to dwell in us and walk among us. The challenge before us is sobering: we determine where God ranks on our priority list. We decide how much time we spend in fellowship with Him. Many of us pursue education, careers, relationships, and possessions hoping they'll fill the God-shaped void within us, yet only He can truly satisfy. The question isn't whether God wants relationship with us—He's already made that clear. The question is whether we'll make knowing Him our number one priority, or continue giving Him whatever time is left over after everything else.
